Best practice for special process which is any production or service process that generates products or services that cannot be measured, monitored, or verified prior to delivery and use and a process for which end results could not be checked without Destructive testing. 

By doing the Casting Assessment, a special process supplier will be able to identify areas that need improvement at their special process facilities as well as improving their process capability, based on industry best practice.
